Joining

There isn’t much to it when joining into this RPG. We are serious about our work here so we expect you to be serious too, but we still want you to have fun. To join here are a few steps.

1.) Read all rules before even thinking about joining. It is important for you to understand what is going on. Us admins are there for you when you have questions, but it would be easier on us if you would stop by and read the rules. You can read the rules here. Once you are done, come back here to continue.

2.) Create a character for you to role play as. Try to make your character as interesting and as bold as possible. The more interesting your character is and the more detailed their history is, you can make role playing easier for you.

3.) Decide which team you would like to join. Read all of the teams summaries, look at all of their maps, and maybe even chat with the leader if you would like for some questions about that team. Once you have decided, in your title for joining, put your name, and the team you wish to join. Make sure the team you wish to join is open and waiting for characters. You will find this out on the home page under the territories.

4.) We wish for you to follow this way of filling out your joining application so it makes it easier on us.

Description:
This is a description of your character both mentally and physically. Include details such as height, weight, eye color, hair color, quirks, likes and dislikes, stuff like that so you and others can get a feel for and imagine the character.

History:
This should be a well written summary of your character’s history. This should be at least three paragraphs long. Their history should be about the people in their lives back on earth, the things they did, just basically anything you can think of that would be important in their past that would affect them in Masami.

Stats:

Role Play:
When you first join, you need to do a short Role play with the leader of that group or an old member, experienced member. We don't always expect our role plays to be too long, but don't make it a few sentences. We expect your role plays about 3 paragraphs long, at least, but we're not forcing you. This should be about how you got from Earth to Masami.

5.) When you finish your application, you will do a short role play with the leader or an experienced member of the group you wish to join. This will just give you a story of how you were able to join with the group. We try to respond quickly, but if we’re busy, don’t expect to be joined for another week/ week and a half.

PLEASE NOTE: On Earth, there are no such things as magical creatures so don’t join being a magical creature of some sorts. Earth there is the same Earth we live on. If you fail to follow this, we will ask you to build your character over again as a regular human.

If you want to become the wanderer, there are a few things to follow and understand before you take this step. There are other situations for how you become a wanderer.

Joining as a wanderer:

If you don’t have any interest in becoming a group member or you aren’t sure which group you want to join into, you can easily join as a wanderer. This means you are alone on your travels and most of your role plays will probably be solos. Now, this shouldn’t stop you from role playing and interacting with other characters, just when your alone, you tend to be alone most of the time. It can be hard becoming a wanderer as it is normal to be looked down on. Some people might not like being looked down on, but others wouldn’t mind being a bad guy. Here are a few steps to join as a wanderer.

1.) When making the title of your Join application, do the same as you would when joining a team but instead of the team you wish to join, just say wander.

2.) When making your application, you still have to role play but because you are not joining with anyone, you don’t have to role play with anyone else. Write a few posts of a role play on how you got from Earth the Masami and trying to survive the first night alone. This should be very easy since you don’t have to wait on anyone and if you were desperate to be an official member of Masami, you can join in just a few days.

Leaving your old team:

In some cases, you could leave your old team either by being kicked out of a group or simply wanting you leave. When I say kicked out, I don’t literally mean the members on your team will hate you. If you are not happy with the group you are in, just ask either the leader of your group or an experienced member of your group to role play with you in the joining area about how you are leaving. If you want your character to be kicked out, ask whoever you’re role playing with to mention that. If you are simply leaving, you have the choice to role play on your own or to have someone role play with you. When you leave your team, you are now able to become a wanderer or even someone who wants to join another team later. Follow the information above in the “Joining as a Wanderer” section to see how to fill out your application.

Wanting to Join another team:

Sometimes, people get bored with their old teams and want to join a new one. It is very rare to just jump from one team to another without being a lone wolf for some time. When leaving a team, follow the information above then come back here when you want to join another.

Now that you’re a wanderer, you can join any other team that you would like if you want to. Just follow your basic joining information and application above to join into another team. That team leader or experienced group member will role play with you on how you joined the team. It is best to not be aggressive towards the other team or else they may not want you but it is very rare for someone to not accept you.

As a final note, please try to make your Join App quality work, so you leave a good impression. None of this 'shadow teh slayyer is frome new york and is realy leet and has long blak hair and can ignor peeple when they annoy him.' That is a dramatization, but things like that are unacceptable.
